The governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The governor disclosed this via his twitter handle on Friday.
Fayemi had on Wednesday taken a test to know his COVID-19 status after having contact with two positive cases.

His tweet reads: “I just received my test result from NCDC and it is negative.
Thanks to all for your concern,” he said.
“This, however, calls for continued vigilance on the part of everyone. Covid-19 is real and we cannot afford to be complacent.
”
As at the time of filing this report, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed at least 81 Coronavirus Case in Nigeria.
