The search for four men who went missing in Kenya’s Kajiado County, South of Nairobi, is ongoing.
Elijah Obuong, aged 35, Benjamin Amache Imbai -30, Brian Oduor -36, and Jack Ochieng-37, mysteriously disappeared on April 19 in Kitengela, Kajiadio County and until now, their whereabouts are still unknown.
The initial police report indicates that they were last seen in a pub in Kitengela.
Their families reported the matter to the police after they failed to return home on that particular day, and their attempt to reach out to them via phone was futile. Their phones have been switched off since then.
Their vehicle, Toyota Max X, was recovered the following day, a few meters from the club they were last seen with its front number plate missing.
The vehicle was towed at Kitengela Police Station.
The news about their disappearance was first shared on The Nairobi Crime-Free Society Facebook page; a site usually shares crime matters in Nairobi.
Detectives are now following a lead by an anonymous caller who is claiming the missing persons are dead.
The four are known to be good friends, their families confirmed.
