Reno Omokri, a former Senior special assistant to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has teased President Muhammadu Buhari over the Global Terrorism Index that ranked Nigeria the 3rd most terrorised nation in the world.

It could be recalled that the President, through the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed had said the federal government had technically defeated the dreaded Boko Haram in Nigeria.

Omokri in his mockery tweet recalled that during the last administration, in 2014 precisely, the same Global Terrorism Index listed Nigeria the 4th most terrorised nation in the world, which means that Nigeria has lost a position under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Reno said ” In 2014, Global Terrorism Index listed Nigeria as the 4th most terrorized nation in the world. On December 2016 President Buhari said he’d technically defeated’ Boko Haram. Yesterday, Global Terrorism Index released the 2017 index and Nigeria is now the 3rd most terrorized nation.”

Opining on the Federal government’s decision to hire a Malaysian Economic consultant to help with the Economic Recovery Plan, Reno said “It is amazing that the Federal Government is hiring Malaysian Economic consultants for ₦458 million to help grow our economy in 2017, because in the early 60s, Malaysia actually engaged Nigerian consultants to help grow their own economy. Google it. It is a verifiable fact!

“Under Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria’s economy became the third fastest growing economy in the world. Since 2015, Western nations have hired her to help grow their economy. But, the FG prefers to pay ₦458 million to Malaysian economic consultants rather than use talents we have in Nigeria!”
