Harbour accident in Italy kills three

At least three people were killed when a container ship crashed into the control tower

in the port of Genoa, north-western Italy, news reports said on Wednesday.

Around 10 people were still missing and six were injured after the collision involving the Jolly Nero vessel at about 11:30 p.m., Italian news agency Ansa reported.

The cause of the accident was not known but authorities were investigating.
