
Former President Goodluck Jonathan reportedly joined the All Progressives Congress on Wednesday (APC).
Jonathan ran for president in 2015 on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform and lost to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is now serving his second term.
However, the former president has been rumored to be interested in running for president in 2023.
On Monday, a northern alliance acquired the APC presidential candidacy and expression of interest forms for him, reigniting suspicions.
According to NAN, stated the former president had registered with the APC in his ward in Otuoke, Bayelsa state.Jonathan is set to file his presidential nomination paperwork on Thursday, according to the source.
When asked if he will run for President, the former President told his fans to “watch out.” He has yet to make a statement regarding the current report.
