How Ondo Lawmaker, Adedayo Omolafe ‘Expensive’ Died

A federal lawmaker representing Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Adedayo Omolafe, popularly known as “Expensive”, has died.

Omolafe, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, died in Akure around 2am on Monday at the Federal Medical Center, Owo. Even as Resident Doctors have been on strike, it is not clear if the he got the much needed attention in the emergency period. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to issue an official statement.

A source close to the late politician informed newsmen that he was unconscious in the night. Close relatives also stated that Omolafe was not sick, narrating how they were still together on Sunday.

Omolafe was a former Chairman of Akure South local government.
