As a result over five hours of rainfall in Minna, Niger State capital, today 26th June 2019, floods destroyed students Lodge.
One of the victims Micheal Adegoke, expressed his pain and calls on the Niger state government, landlords of the Students community In Gidan kwano, the University main Campus Minna to help to address the situation.
The flood destroyed the wall of the building, which caused a lot of damages to the student's properties: food items, clothes, shoes, electric fan, mattress and gas cylinder were washed away by the Flood and rendered the students empty-handed.
The victims were been assisted by their fellow students to recover some of the lost items.
