The Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki has doused speculations that the postponement in the resumption of the National assembly had anything to do with him.
He also stated categorically that he was not afraid of impeachment.
The Senate President made these known on Sunday during his visit to Minna, the Niger State capital.
Saraki said that those protesting for the resumption of the Assembly are only doing so for political interests as the postponement was a matter of constitutional provisions.
The Senate President who is a presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party laughed at those parading themselves as political leaders in Kwara State as seasonal politicians who have no stability in their political pursuits.
Saraki’s postulation was directed at the All Progressives Congress (APC) who had been agitating for his resignation or impeachment since he defected to the PDP.
