I Don’t Know What Buhari Think Of Me, Says Oshiomhole

  • Andrew Emwanta drags Oshiomhole Judge to NJC for reversing the suspension

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole says he cannot read President Muhammadu Buhari’s perception about him.

Oshiomhole played down the possibility that Mr President might not be satisfied with his leadership.

Oshiomhole said this on Thursday afternoon.

The embattled Chairman is in a fresh crisis as some APC governors have backed the order that suspended him from office on Wednesday.

A fEderal High Court in Abuja had suspended Oshiomhole and also barred him from accessing the party secretariat.

The judge also ordered the APC to stop acknowledging Oshiomhole as its Chairman.

However, barely 24 hours after the order, Justice Lewis Allagoa of the federal high court in Kano reversed the ruling.

Oshiomhole who met President Muhammadu Buhari after the second ruling blamed those seeking 2023 presidential election for his travail.

He also blamed Obaseki, the Edo State governor who he claimed had turned around to bite him after all he did to make him governor.

“But there are other forces that see me for whatever reason as a threat to them. And those leading this anti-Oshiomhole campaign, some of them I emphasise, cannot even boost of a councillor in their state even as they lay claim to a leadership position in our party,” he said.

The discussion between the President and the Chairman was not made public, and Buhari has remained silent on the crisis dividing the party.

When journalists questioned whether the President was happy with his style of leadership, Oshiomhole said “Now, you want me to read him, I will decline. If you are in doubt, you are so privileged here that you can ask the president: comfortable or uncomfortable,” he said.

“I am not a comfort reader, what I have done I have explained to you, that much I know is the truth. As for questions that have to do with inner feelings, those you can confirm if you are in doubt.”

Lawyer Drags Kano Judge to NJC Over Oshiomhole’s Suspension

A lawyer, Andrew Emwanta has dragged Justice Lewis Allagoa to the NJC for misconduct.

Allagoa reserved Oshiomhole’s suspension on Thursday in Kano.

Emwanta in the petition said Justice Allagoa hurriedly granted in favour of the defendants in the suit, less than 24 hours after Mr Oshiomhole was stopped by an injunction from Justice Danlemi Senchi, from parading himself as the APC Chairman.
