Soliu Majekodunmi, an 18-year-old who conspired with three of his pals to assassinate his fiancée, Sofiyah, for alleged money ritual motives, has admitted to learning the technique on Facebook.
On Monday, January 31, Soliu was paraded in front of the media, where he confessed that he received the detail after searching "how to make money ritual" on Facebook and that the link ordered him to behead and burn a female skull in a local pot.
Majekodunmi went on to say that he plotted with his friend Mustakeem Balogun and two other people to lure Sofiyah to their residence in Abeokuta's Oke Aregba neighbourhood, where she was murdered.
The trio admitted to killing the girl, alleging that they carried out the heinous crime as part of a money ritual because they wanted to drive exotic automobiles and live in high-end residences. They also purchased three pigeon eggs, known as 'Eyin Aparo' in Yoruba, as well as other fetish items, which they added to the local pot.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
