The executive governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has described the leader of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as a frustrated man seeking relevance.

The governor disclosed this while addressing State House journalists in Abuja yesterday.
He opined that Kanu lacks the capacity to lead the Igbo people to war.
Okorocha said Biafra agitators were merely frustrated and venting their frustration by clamouring for Biafra.
The governor’s response was in the expectation that he may advise the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to consult with Kanu after meeting with stakeholders.
He disclosed that the entire igbos are not talking with Kanu at the moment, warning that he could ride on the sentiment of the alleged Igbo marginalization to push his political agenda.
He said:“You must understand the position of a thing and what has created this hullabaloo if you like and the big noise about this whole thing. Nnamdi Kanu was a breakout of MOSSOP out of agitation. So, it is agitation, agitation, agitation.
“Nnamdi Kanu, a young man seeking relevance, agitating for whatever he believes in, what he stands for, must be treated separately from the entire Igbo nation. The question is: does Nnamdi Kanu has the capacity to lead Igbos to war? Or lead me and the governors to war? So, I will stand now and Nnamdi Kanu will tell me stand up, let’s go to war? So, sometimes, we over dramatize issues just to make a big deal out of it and that has been the big challenge.”
Commenting on the ultimatum given to the Igbos by the Arewa youths to leave their territory, Okorocha said the 17 northern youths that gave the order could not have spoken for the millions of Arewa youths.
He warned that if the ongoing agitation is not well managed, it would sink Nigeria in the nearest future.
