The people of Uvbe community in Edo State received succour today after a kidnapped victim regained freedom.
Owerre Dickson Imasogie, who was abducted on his farm on Monday, was released by his abductors.
It is not clear if a ransom was paid for his release. However, the villagers jubilated for his safe return.
The Edo South leader of the Peoples Democratic Party was accosted on his farm and whisked away through the riverside.
He is yet to make any statement to the press at the time of filing this report.
