At a black spot in Ogarafe, Oghara in the state's Ethiope west LGA, the Delta State Police Command apprehended twenty accused cultists.
The suspects were apprehended by cops belonging to the command's raiders unit, according to DSP Edafe Bright, the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the arrest to newsmen.
DSP Edafe Bright also revealed that one female pant was utilized and a constructed wooden gun, 648 wraps of cannabis presumed to be Indian hemp, charms, and other items. The suspects were found with sixteen bottles of codeine, 10 packs of razlers, one cannabis grinder, and a total of N69,000.
The suspects will be arraigned in court soon, he added.
The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested two alleged cultists and recovered guns.
The suspects were apprehended during a Stop and Search operation carried out by operatives in Yenagoa city, according to the command's spokesperson, DSP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest on Friday.
