Lagos-based businessman, Amarah Kennedy, has been involved in a disturbing incident where he circulated nude photos of two single mothers with whom he had past relationships.

Kennedy went to extreme lengths by sending the explicit photos to the WhatsApp platform of a church attended by one of the women, identified as Kester, as well as to her late husband’s family members and colleagues.

Kennedy’s actions have caused significant distress to the victims. In fact, he brazenly declared, “By the time I am done, suicide will be her only option.” Kester, the primary target, revealed that her in-laws and pastor reached out to show their support and solidarity.

This case came to light after our previous special feature on Sunday, where we highlighted the stories of two women, Kester and another woman named Temi. These women had encountered Kennedy separately through various online platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook chat groups for singles.

Kester, who tragically lost her husband in a car accident eight years ago, found herself drawn into a relationship with Kennedy after he showered her with monetary gifts.

However, things took a sinister turn when he secretly captured over 50 explicit photos of her during their intimate encounters in a hotel. He then demanded a sum of N100,000 to delete the pictures. Despite complying with his request and sending the money, Kennedy shamelessly distributed the photos on Facebook.

The repercussions for Kester were devastating. She even attempted suicide twice due to the distress caused by the circulating images and the subsequent judgment from those who saw them.

Temi, the second victim, shared a similar harrowing experience. Kennedy engaged in drug-induced marathon sex with her, only to later reveal that he had no genuine intentions for a serious relationship. When she stopped engaging with him, Kennedy retaliated by sending her explicit photos and demanding reimbursement for all the money he had spent on their relationship.

Terrified and desperate, Temi borrowed N15,000 to meet his demands. However, even after complying, Kennedy continued to spread the explicit photos after Temi reached out to his sister for help.

As the news report was published, Kennedy, displaying no remorse, threatened to further tarnish the reputations of these women, stating, “I will continue to damage the reputation of the women for spoiling my image.” He persisted in sending the explicit photos to more of their family members.

Screenshots obtained by The Standard Gazette showcased Kennedy’s conversations with the victims and their friends, demonstrating the extent of his malicious intent. In one chat, Kennedy callously stated, “Her (Kester) pictures are there. At Redeem parish WhatsApp group platform. I am all over the news, she also will be all over the news. By the time I am done, suicide will be her only option… This one to her colleague at work… 28 pictures. I have sent to her friends abroad both male and female. I have sent to her in-law, Redeem church branch on WhatsApp, to her pastor and more random people online. Una never jam. My image is already dented. Hers will go round. Pictures that I have uploaded on a porn site today, all 52 pictures.”

Amidst the pain and despair caused by Kennedy’s actions, one of the victims expressed her determination to live for the sake of her daughters. Fighting back tears in an audio message to the press, she said, “I’m sorry I had to cry. It’s been a while since I said I would cry over this issue, but I feel better now. My in-laws have called me. Thank God. They are the ones now encouraging me, asking if I had reported to the police… They said I even tried, that if it was their brother, they know he would have remarried. That I tried
