A former aide to the administration headed by Goodluck Elele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has disagreed with the call by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Mohammadu Sanusi warning the President, Muhammadu Buhari not to make the same mistakes Jonathan made.

In a series of tweet on his twitter page monitored by NAIJA CENTER NEWS, Reno Omokri advised Buhari to make the same mistakes Jonathan made so that he can achieve a lot like Jonathan did.
Sanusi had warned Buhari that if he doesn’t take time, he would end up like Jonathan administration, calling on the President to retrace his steps on some of his economic policies.
He stressed that Buhari administration should stop blaming the past administration as it has made similar mistakes.
Sanusi said: “We should not just keep blaming the previous administration; we also made some mistakes in the current administration.
“They must retrace their steps.
They have to retrace those steps all the way. We should not fall into the same trap we fell the last time when the government was always right. The bottom line is that if your policy is wrong, it means you must change it and nothing will make it right as it has to be changed.
“If this government continues to behave the way the last government behaved, it will end up where Jonathan ended.”
Omokri in counter tweets, advised Buhari to make the same mistakes if that would enable him achieve what the last administration achieved.
He said “How can anyone say PMB shouldn’t make Goodluck Jonathan’s mistake. Our economy grew under GEJ! PMB pls make GEJ’s mistake so the economy can grow!
“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that made the economy grow at over 4% every year GEJ was in power!

“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that ensured Naira was stable at ₦150-₦215 to $1 between 2011-2015
“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that ensured EVERY state had at least one federal university!
“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that ensured EVERY election INEC held under GEJ was conclusive!
“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that ensured civil servants were consistently paid as and when due!
“Rather than avoid GEJ’s mistake, PMB should make the same GEJ mistake that ensured businesses were coming to Nigeria not leaving Nigeria!
“Let me assure anybody NO MATTER WHO HE IS, I, Reno Omokri, will not let ANYONE rewrite history.
GEJ was a man who did well for Nigeria!
