Man uses biscuit to lure and adopt Livestock Worker’s daughter in Benue
This is not a good time for Livestock Workers in Gwer-West Local Government Area in Benue State, as Atti Winifred Ngohile was said to have been kidnapped by yet-to-be-identified persons.
Miss Ngohile is the daughter of one of the Livestock Workers in the area.
In a statement signed by the State Chairman of the Livestock Workers in the state, Niyibiam Joseph Tersoo, he alleged that a man said to have come to lodge in a hotel closer to the house of the missing child, which also shared a boundary with Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camp in Naka, headquarters of the local government council.
The man allegedly came out of the hotel to present biscuits to children around the area and later disappeared with Atti.
Tersoo said the father of the victim was at his place of work as a Livestock Disease Surveillance Officer; unknown to him, the daughter had been taken away by someone whose interior motive is yet to be known.
He, therefore, called on the law enforcement agencies in the state to apprehend the man and rescue the child within 24 hours, or the workers would withdraw their services.
