Nigeria Confirms 86 New Cases Of COVID-19

  • The country hits 627 total confirmed cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed eighty-six (86) new cases of COVID-29 on Sunday evening.

This was made public via its Twitter handle.

According to NCDC, of the 86 cases, seventy (70) were confirmed in Lagos, seven (7) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), three (3) in Katsina, three (3) in Akwa Ibom, one (1) in Jigawa, one (1) in Borno and one (1) in Bauchi State.

Nigeria has discharged 170 patients and lost 21 to COVID-19 complications.

As of on Sunday night, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 62 cases with 436 being the active confirmed cases.
