Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Hits 2,802 As NCDC Confirms 245 New Cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has recorded 245 new cases of COVID-19.

This was announced via its Twitter handle on Monday night.

Of the 245 new cases, Lagos recorded the highest with 76 new cases, 37 in Katsina, 32 in Jigawa, 23 in Kano, 19 in FCT, 18 in Borno and 10 in Edo State.

Other states are Bauchi with 9 confirmed cases, Adamawa with 6, 5 in Oyo, 5 in Ogun and 1 in Ekiti, Osun and the Benue States respectively.

The new cases bring the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 2,802 of which 2, 292 being the active cases.

Nigeria has lost 93 victims to Coronavius complications and discharged 417 patients.
