Nigeria Covid-19 Hits 407 As Country Confirms 34 New Cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced thirty-four (34) new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

The announcement was made via twitter on Wednesday evening.

According to NCDC, eighteen new cases were discovered in Lagos, twelve in Kano, two in Katsina, one in Delta and one in Niger State.

With the new cases, Nigeria has hit a total of 407 confirmed cases.

The country has discharged 128 and lost 12 patients to the virus.

As of Thursday morning, Nigeria has 267 active cases of the COVID-19, an addition of 15 active cases within 24 hours.

The Nigerian government had placed several measures: border closure, school closure, lockdown of major cities like Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to curtail the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
