Nigeria Hits 873 As NCDC Records 91 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 91 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

According to its statement via Twitter on Wednesday night, 74 cases were recorded in Lagos and 5 in Katsina and 2 in Edo State.

Nigeria has recorded 28 deaths and discharged 197 cases.

The country now has 873 total cases of the virus.

Though the government had announced several measures to curb the spread of the virus, the mindset of Nigerians, plus hardship associated with lockdown had led to several violations.
