A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Co founder of the public policy intuitive, the National Consultative Forum, (NCF), Prof. Pat Utomi mi says Nigeria stands the risk of becoming war torn Somalia if certain measures are not taken.

Prof. Utomi who is a renowned economist and Communication strategist said the army of unemployed youths in Nigeria has reached alarming rate, adding that they could revolt against the established order sooner than later.

The Governorship aspirant on the platform of the APC in Delta State during the 2019 general election noted in an interview on Monday that there was a need for a new rebirth, hence the launch of the  National Consultative Forum, (NCF.

“It’s so because sadly for us, may be nobody intended it, we have cone toa very awkward path in our national history, where if we don’t do something extraordinary, they won’t be  Nigeria in a few years. Many countries in the course of their history usually come to this. Unfortunate path.

According to him,, he said Nigeria would become Somalia if she continues in her current path of negligence and poor leadership.

“If we carry on routinely, we are not going to move forward. From time to time, you must leave routine. The National Consultative Forum, (NC F) is about sharpening the sword to bring back our country. If nothing extraordinary is done, the only destination we can get to is Somalia, it’s pretty obvious. If we don’t do the right, these huge number of people would revolt against the established order. “

“From our economic to our value system down to our institutional situation are all in our huge national crisis. The essence of modern society is for people to improve the quality of their living. If you look at the situation in Nigeria and the level of unemployment, you will see that we have an extraordinarily and large population out of work and Somalia is here.”
