As part of his official schedule, Minister Ata is set to deliver a keynote address at the 2025 International Economic Forum, held under the theme “Russia – Islamic – Kazan Forum.”

The speech will highlight Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Housing Programmes, a transformative initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration aimed at tackling the country’s housing deficit and expanding access to affordable homes.

Speaking to the press ahead of the Minister’s departure, Adamu Aminu, Special Assistant on Media to the Minister, emphasised the importance of the trip:

“This visit is a strategic move to position Nigeria’s housing sector as an attractive destination for global investment. The Minister will be engaging directly with stakeholders who can bring the capital, innovation, and technical expertise needed to scale our Renewed Hope Housing Programmes,” he said.

In addition to his keynote address, Minister Ata will participate in a high-level roundtable discussion with international investors, developers, and industry leaders. The session is designed to foster collaborations that can stimulate Nigeria’s real estate growth and infrastructure delivery.

This marks Minister Ata’s first official foreign engagement since his appointment on November 3, 2024. His attendance at the forum underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to projecting Nigeria’s housing development agenda on the world stage.

“We are confident that our participation in this prestigious event will yield significant benefits for Nigeria’s housing sector,” said Minister Ata. “We look forward to engaging with international partners and showcasing our Renewed Hope Housing Programmes to a global audience.”

The 2025 International Property Market Exhibition and Conference is a premier event in the global real estate calendar, attracting top government officials, investors, and urban development experts.

Nigeria’s participation is expected to boost international interest in the country’s housing market and reinforce its reputation as a rising investment hub in Africa.
