ORITSEJAFOR-ayoSultanOlThe Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kawo zone yesterday got one slot to perform the holy pilgrimage in Jerusalem from a Muslim legislator in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

Presenting the form to representatives of CAN, Mohammed Ali said the gesture was aimed at restoring the oneness that existed between Christians and Muslims in the past. “In the month of August, when you paid me a visit during the Eid-Fitri, I made a promise to present to CAN, Kawo zone, one seat for Jerusalem, so I invited you to my office today (yesterday) to fulfil the promise. It is left to you to decide who gets the allocation,” he said.
