Nugerian Taxi Driver Honored in UAE for Returning 100k Dirhams

A Nigerian man who works as a cab driver in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was recognized for his honesty after returning 100k Dirhams (N12 million) that had been left in his cab.

The taxi driver, named as Abraham Airaodion, found that a passenger had forgotten the humongous sum of money in his taxi and returned it with true sincerity.

On Monday, December 13, 2021, Abraham, who works for Sharjah Taxi Cooperation, was awarded by the organization.

He received a certificate of gratitude, and images from the award ceremony were posted on the internet. Many Nigerians have been on the black books of the UAE authorities and such acts of honesty had to be appreciated.
