Obaseki, Shaibu Set To Take Oath Of Office For Second Term

Governor of Edo state and his deputy, Hon. Philip Shaibu on Thursday took the oath of office to commence their second term in office. 

Recall that Obaseki and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP emerged winners of the September 19th Governorship elections. 

The swearing in ceremony that took place in Benin City, the Edo State capital had Minister of Health, Dr. Olusegun Ehanire, Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife, Edith Okowa, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly were all in attendance.
Others are Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa state were also present.
