Manchester United youngster Chido Obi has insisted that his move to the club was in the best interest of his career.
The Nigeria-eligible striker, who has played for the U-21 side of Denmark made the move to the Red Devils last summer after rejecting a scholarship contract with Arsenal that reportedly came with a £15,000 weekly wage.
The forward joined United where he is on a 30,000 weekly wage.

Chido Obi became the 252nd academy player to debut for Manchester United’s first team following his senior appearance against Tottenham Hotspur on February 16, barely four days after he won the FA Youth Cup, scoring a hat-trick against Chelsea.
In an interview with the club’s website, Obi stated:
“It was a big moment for me and my family. My parents came to the game and my brothers came as well so it was a very good moment for me to come on.”
Obi who was Arsenal’s record goal scorer in the U18 Premier League, spoke on the first advice he received from United head coach Ruben Amorim.
“He just told me to be humble, keep working hard every day and hopefully get more opportunities soon.
“My dad and mom always told me to be a good person and listen to my coaches because they want to get better.”
The youngster further revealed that his best moment so far for United was when he made his home debut against Fulham and came to scoring his first senior goal for the Red Devils.
