Barely 24 hours after welcoming a new bride into the palace, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, reportedly decided not to proceed with plans to wed again.
After all required wedding rites allowed by custom were completed on Tuesday, September 6, Mariam Anako, the newest queen of the Ooni of Ife, was welcomed into the Ile-Ife Palace.
When Dr. Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda from the Magodo region of Lagos state arrived at the Ife Palace after Anako, a group of chiefs from the royal residence in Osun State visited her family.
Akinmuda is an Ondo City, Ondo State native who now lives in Scotland and processes electronic data.
Naomi gave notice that her roughly three-year marriage to the king was coming to an end on Thursday, December 23, 2021. She claimed that she made every effort to persevere and keep their marriage together, adding that she grinned during the fight, but now she's done.
Additionally, she commanded her family members to stop referring to her as the Queen of Ile-Ife or using the terms "Ooni" or "Ife." The palace, though, insisted that the royal pair was still wed.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
