Oromoni's Death: Lagos clears 5 pupils

The Lagos State Government has cleared five pupils and five Dowen Campus employees in the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student at the college.

Kingsley Otuaro, the school facility manager in Lekki, was also exonerated.

Favour Benjamin, Edward Begue, Ansel Temile, Kenneth Inyang, Edward Begue, Celina Uduak, Valentine Igboekweze, Hammed Ayomo Bariyu, Adesanya Olusesan Olusegun, and one Adeyemi are among the officials exonerated by the government through the Director of Public Prosecution.

If any of the suspects are still in custody, the state has ordered that they be released.

Oromoni was said to have died from injuries acquired in a school attack by five senior pupils for reportedly refusing to join their cult.

After efforts to save his life failed, the 12-year-old kid died on November 30, 2020.
