The almost rescued Edo State has resumed its spake of violence in the hands of kidnappers who of recent targeted two high profile indigenes.
Popular Edo musician, Osayomore Joseph was kidnapped yesterday near his residence in Orovie Village, off Upper Ekenhuan road, Benin City.

His wife was reported to have sustained head injury.
The Ace musician finished from the palace where he performed before the Oba of Benin, Oba Eware 11.
Someone privy to the incident told NAIJA CENTER NEWS added that “On his way home with his wife at about midnight he was kidnapped at gun point. His wife and two of his kids were in the car when the incident happened.
“He was kidnapped and whisked away on Okada bike. His wife was shot and injured.”
This recent development happened barely two weeks after the Director and Chief Executive of Ogba zoo Dr. Andy Ehanire was abducted.
The kidnappers killed three policemen and carted away with their arms and ammunition at about six pm of the said date.
The state government and the Nigerian police had vowed to bring the new threat to an end, and assured the people to go about their businesses.
