Ogie and the PDP “console the bereaved family”, adding that “it is a sad day for us in the PDP, Edo State Chapter.”

“We pray God to give his immediate family and the PDP Edo State Chapter the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

On June 07, the lawmaker celebrated his birthday on his Facebook wall. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’m grateful for another year that God has bestowed upon me. To me, a very happy birthday!”

The cause of death was unknown at the time of writing this report.

A Facebook user, Max Iyare, posted, “Rest In Peace, Hon. Jude Ise Idehen.

“Sometimes, we may not know exactly what some people are passing through in life when we begin to judge them. We look at them from afar and assume all is well with them. The fact that the lizard nods its head does not mean all is well.

“Ize Idehen lately has not been his former self. He has retreated to his inner emotional reflection. He was no longer very active publicly. I sensed something wasn’t going right.

I am really saddened by the demise of this honourable representing the Ikpoba-Okha/Egor federal constituency. Life is but a dream! May his soul rest in peace.”
