The Nigerian Police force in Idah, Kogi state, has arrested Jimba James, who claimed to be a naval officer.
Jimba was arrested following a tip when he was busy extorting students of Federal Polytechnic in Idah.
The fake naval man, who also hailed from a nearby community known as Gbagbada, has been terrorizing students of the Institution with a navy uniform, which he confessed to have bought from Abuja at the cost of N20,000.

The suspect was beaten by the police and had been humiliated before the students whom he had been extorting.
He was later handed over to the state police command for further investigation.
Recall that the state has been under siege following the activities of men of the criminal underworld.
Many persons, including kids, have been kidnapped in their homes and on the farms of recent by bandits.
A case in point was the recent hijacking of a luxurious Bus heading to Abuja from Lagos containing several passengers in Okene in the central senatorial district of the state.
