Police nab popular Facebook Influencer, Ovaioza for scamming people, tries to flee

The Police have captured Ovaioza, a well-known Facebook influencer, for allegedly scamming Nigerians on Facebook to the tune of N3 billion.

According to reports, Ovaioza was apprehended in Abuja's Lugbe neighbourhood while attempting to exit the country.

The beleaguered lady had bought houses in the United States with earnings from her investment scam endeavour, according to a source on Twitter with the handle @Gwenshuga.

She is also said to have married a man who got her pregnant shortly after she became renowned.

@Gwenshuga wrote: "So this lady name Ovioza or whatever scammed Facebook people to the tune of 3billion naira.

"She bought houses in the USA, married one fine bobo who got her pregnant, she was planning to escape today when Police nabbed her in Lugbe Abuja. The case will be moved to CID.

"She runs a storage business as a front. People were asked to invest in getting returns."
