Rodney Okoba, a Youtuber, has accused the police of shooting him after an argument at Mile 2 Bus-stop in Lagos State’s Amuwo Odofin neighbourhood.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Okoba said he and his father had just gotten out of a taxi when a police officer inquired about their destination.

He claim ed that the constable accused him of being impolite and told him to get into the police patrol van.
He stated that a policewoman came around during the argument, slapped him and accused him of being rude.
As they tried to force him into the van one of the officers shot at his leg.
Rodney says immediately they began to leave the scene. It was when he cried for help that people came to the scene and nabbed the woman.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police had ordered a preliminary investigation into the matter.
He said, “The CP has instructed the DPO to conduct a preliminary investigation to know what transpired. After that, we will know what to do next.
“But we ha ve been able to identify the men and where they came from. Possibly before the end of today (Sunday) or tomorrow (Monday) after the result of the investigation comes out, we will know how to proceed from there.”
