Protests in Asaba over polls

The capital of Delta State, Asaba, has seen protests over the recently held presidential and National Assembly elections.

Youths in their hundreds can be seen screaming the name of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi in a video that circulated on social media on Tuesday morning.

"This is happening live in Asaba right now," the voice in the video announced. Whether they like it or not, Obi must be the president of Nigeria. Our vote right now

"The Asaba youths are demonstrating right now asking that INEC should do the right (thing) and stop the ongoing rigging," reads the video's caption from the Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization.
