Shock as a man’s stalled vehicle stolen in central Kenya

Police have launched a manhunt for burglars who stole a middle-aged man’s stalled vehicle on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Stephen Kamau was heading to Murang’a from Maragua town (central Kenya) early on Monday at around 2 am when his motor vehicle stalled in the middle of the road.

He parked it by the roadside and decided to keep vigil inside the vehicle, a silver Toyota Hiace, as he waited for early morning mechanics to open their doors for business.

At 5 am he stepped out in search of a mechanic. However, along the way, he discovered that he had left his type c phone charger inside the vehicle and decided to go back and get it.

Shockingly, he found his vehicle missing, and he reported to the nearby police station
