In the Oshodi neighbourhood of Lagos State, an unidentified soldier is accused of fatally stabbing ticket agent Ibrahim Ikudaisi, also known as Guardian, over an N100 ticket.
In a market in Oshodi, Ikudaisi was visiting shops to demand N100 from several vendors when one refused to give him the money.
Ikudaisi’s plea for the trader to comply apparently resulted in a quarrel, and during that exchange, the soldier interfered to stop the ticket agent from taking the trader’s money.

It was discovered that when the debate grew heated, the soldier pulled a knife from his pocket and allegedly stabbed Ikudaisi in the chest.
Ikudaisi was knocked to the ground by the attack, according to eyewitnesses, who also stated that the soldier fled after realizing the ticket agent had fallen unconscious.
Ikudaisi is reported to be well-known in the region of Oshodi.
He is well-known and goes by the moniker “Guardian.” He is the one who collects the daily taxes from all of the traders in this place.
Yesterday, he was laid to rest at his family’s plot of land on Lagos Island. The trader claimed, “Army officials came around this area in the morning and they told us that they had arrested the soldier, but we did not trust them because no one was there to witness the arrest,” the witness stated.
