South Africa will investigate the death of a Nigerian, who was alleged to have died in the custody of the police.
The outgoing South African High Commissioner in Nigeria, Mr. Kingsley Mamabolo, said this in Abuja yesterday when he received the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora.
Reacting to a statement by the Chairman of the committee, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the envoy promised that the South African government would look into the reported case of the Nigerian killed in South Africa.
The High Commissioner, however, attributed the protest in South Africa to lack of adequate information and wrong perception.
