Soldiers have allegedly attacked Yoruba secessionist activist, Sunday Adeyemo’s (a.k.a. Sunday Igboho) house in the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The spokesperson for the separatist leader, Olayomi Koiki disclosed this in a Facebook Live broadcast.
“I can confirm that those who came are definitely Nigerian soldiers.” There are more than 100 soldiers that came.”
Koiki noted that the soldiers invaded the house around 1am on Thursday.
“The situation is very active as more security operatives in about seven Nigerian Army patrol vans have arrived,” Koiki said. “He (Sunday Igboho) is currently safe.”
Meanwhile, latest reports has confirmed that Sunday Igboho’s wife and kids may have been whisked away by the gunmen. Two persons are also feared dead.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
