Tanker with 5000 litres petrol spill while avoiding oncoming vehicle in Benue State

Gboko, Benue State .- A tanker carrying over 5000 litres of petrol overturned when trying to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle at the T-junction in Gboko, Benue State.

The incident which occurred yesterday, the 17 of September 2018 at around 4 pm. A lot of petrol was spilt on the road making it slippery. However, no casualty was reported.

Police officers rushed to the scene to stop those who tried to use the medium of the overture to get free petrol and also to ease up the traffic situation around the road.

Shops around were closed immediately and people around ran for their lives.
