The World Health Organization (WHO) has decried the distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine as discriminatory. Africa got 11 million of the 548 million COVID-19 vaccines distributed globally.
This represents 2 percent of the total vaccine distribution for a continent that has 17 percent of the global population.
In a statement to commemorate the World Health Day, WHO Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, called a fairer and healthier world.
