Those Peddling Kyari’s Death Are Heartless, Says Fani-Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has described those behind the death rumour of Abba Kyari as vicious and heartless.

Fani-Kayode said on Thursday that the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari people wished Kyari dead because of indifference.

There has been rumour peddled mostly on Social media that the right-hand man to Mr Buhari had died from Coronavirus complications.

NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported that Kyari tested positive for Coronavirus after his return from Germany.

Reacting on Thursday that his statement is not a support for Buhari’s administration.

“It is not true that Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to @MBuhari, is dead. Those that are behind that rumour are vicious and heartless.

I remain opposed to the @MBuhari admin.

but to wish or proclaim someone dead simply because you disagree with him politically is unacceptable,” he tweeted.

The Chief of Staff is reportedly responding well to treatment at a private facility in Lagos, a member of Kyari’s family had disclosed.

“Since the diagnosis, he has had the occasional cough, which, though not chesty, remained stubborn, hence his decision to transfer to a private facility in Lagos for further tests and observations,”

“Up till now, he has had no high fever or difficulty in breathing, and the cough is subsiding after treatment, so he is making good progress.” The source had said.
