Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has recorded 242 new cases of COVID-19
The announcement was made via Twitter on Monday night.
According to NCDC, of the new 242 cases, 88 were confirmed in Lagos, 64 in Kano, 49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna and 9 in Ogun State.

The states that recorded similar cases are Gombe State with 6 cases, 4 in Adamawa, 3 in the Federal Capital Territory 1 in Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno and Bauchi States respectively.
Nigeria now has a total of 4,641 with 150 deaths and 902 patients discharged.
