Unknown gunmen reportedly attacked the office of the ex Edo State Attorney-General Barr. Henry Idahagbon.
The incident was said to have happened between 13:30hrs and 14:00hrs on Thursday afternoon at 52B Siluko road Benin city.
The gunmen reportedly arrived the address shooting sporadically.

The customers eating at the restaurant on the ground floor of the building were said to have scampered for safety.
Witness confirmed that bullets were fired and NAIJA CENTER received a video and photos of the incident.
It was gathered that Idahagbon ran through the exit door of the two-story building.
Speaking with NAIJA CENTER on Thursday evening, Idahagbon said the gunmen arrived in a white Hilux van with a government plate number.
He said “Gunmen in a convoy of 6 vehicles led by a white Hilux with govt number came to my office shortly before 2 pm and opened fire on the shattering all the windows.
“One of the boys had a slight bullet wound while an elderly sprained his leg. When they could not find me, they destroyed everything inside the restaurant”
Meanwhile, an aide to the Edo State government, Mr Osagie Crusoe has accused the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress of his plans to disrupt the peace in Edo State.
Reacting to the claim by Henry Idahagbon, Crusoe said the alleged attack was one of Oshiomhole’s many plans to disrupt safety in Edo.
The Special aide stressed that the Edo Peoples Movement and the party Chairman were hellbent on causing disorderliness in the state.
“This incident is the latest in Comrade Oshiomhole’s schemes as his lieutenants continue to perpetuate violence with his overt and covert support, which will not be tolerated by the Edo State Government,” he said.
He added, “We call on the Inspector General of Police and the Presidency to call Comrade Oshiomhole to order. His ambition to become a godfather in Edo State is not worth the safety of the 4 million people in our state.
“The state government restates that it would spare nothing under the laws of our land in dealing decisively with these merchants of violence.
“We, hereby, assure Edo people that we would continue to resist attempts to fracture the peace and safety in Edo State.”
