Why Ebele did not return Bianca's 'dirty' slap: Ex-Governor's wife releases statement

The wife of the former governor of Anambra state has issued a statement, exactly four days after the widow of the late Biafran warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, slapped her.

Recall that at the inauguration event of Chukwuma Soludo, the new governor of Anambra, on Thursday, March 17, numerous recordings of Ebelechukwu Obiano receiving a slap from Bianca Ojukwu were leaked online.

In the footage, Ebelechukwu is seen getting out of her seat and approaching Bianca, who is sitting around five meters away, for a confrontation.

An aide to the former governor's wife, Chidiebele Obika, explained that all she did was approach the former beauty queen for their normal friendly banter.

Obika, pondering what could have triggered Bianca's rage and vileness, said it's ridiculous that a former ambassador couldn't "control herself in public."

According to the statement, Ebele did not reciprocate the smack and instead walked away in complete amazement.
