The marriage between Mr. Saheed Oyepeju and Mrs Toyin Oyepeju of Aba-nla, Idi Ayunre in Ibadan has been dissolved yesterday at a Customary Court sitting in Mapo, Ibadan.
Mr. Saheed has earlier dragged his wife, Toyin to court over an allegation of being fetish and stubbon. “I want to inform this court, that I am ready to part way with my wife, I Am tired of being Her husband, She is fetish and stubborn”

He also said “the last time we had a misunderstanding, she took away my children without my consent, and not until my people visited her family to settle the matter was when she returned with the kids and we had since been living together like strangers under the same roof. My wife refuse to reconcile with me and I am tired of living ‘Cat and Mouse’ with my own wife, that was why I left home for her”
In Her defense statement, Mrs. Toyin, a mother of four, pleaded not guilty to her husband’s claim of her being fetish or stubborn, “He is lying against me my lord, I am not fetish, He is the one that started the whole thing, and it started when I gave birth to our second child, he will not make provision for what me and the children will eat he started going out and will not come back for long, sometime he went and did not come back for like a year, that was when we started fighting. Now, He has locked us out for almost 4 months and has no concern on whether we feed or not”
The court Presided over by Chief Agbaje Henry Olasunkanmi In taking to consideration the safety of their lives and the Peace of the society dissolved their Union ordering the father to take to custody their first two children, Ayomide 11 and Eniola 9 while putting the younger ones, Tomiwa 7 and Ayodeji 4 in care of their mother.
