In the Abule-Egba neighbourhood of Lagos State, a housewife named Motunrayo is accused of killing her husband, Alaba, alias Bama. At their home, the couple had an argument that escalated into a brawl.
Motunrayo was accused of putting a plugin a pressing iron that she used to burn her husband’s chest.
According to reports, the victim died as a result of his injuries.
The hotelier and his wife, along with their three children, had just returned from a vacation in Dubai, according to sources.
Alaba was the owner of the Bama Hotel and Suites in the Abule Egba area until his death on Monday, January 14, 2022.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, confirmed the incident, adding that Motunrayo and three other suspects had been arrested in connection with the crime.
He said, “His body has been deposited in the Yaba Mainland Hospital’s morgue for an autopsy. The deceased’s wife and three others have been arrested in connection with the suspected murder case.”
