The director of voter education and publicity, Independent National Electoral Commission said on Friday that the commission will meet on Saturday over Zamfara upturn.
The Supreme court had sacked all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who partook in the Zamfara governorship elections.
Reacting, Festus Okoye said the commission will meet on Saturday after an emergency meeting which was held today.

With the decision of the Supreme court, it means the APC has lost three senatorial positions, 24 house of assembly seats and a governorship position to the opposition.
Zamfara State: Atiku Commends Supreme Court Judgement
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took to his Facebook page to commend the Supreme court judgment which nullified the election of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara in the last general polls.
This was contained in a statement by his media adviser, Paul Ibe.
Atiku said justice had prevailed, adding that the court upheld the rule of law and did justice by the declaration.
“Nothing is as pleasing to the ears of believers, as justice being served in the holy month of Ramadan,” he said.
“God first, Nigeria second, must be our priority as trustees of the people,” he said.
“When justice prevails, the people rejoice, chains are broken, freedom is multiplied and society is enriched.”
