Photo News: Peter Obi visits Babangida in Minna

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, today visited former military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.

The duo met IBB at his home in Minna on Sunday, 25 September 2022.

Mr. Obi shared the moments and pictures via his verified Twitter handle later.

He posted. “Today, my running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, and I visited President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, GCFR, at his home in Minna.

“He received us very warmly, and we had insightful conversations about the state of affairs in our country.”

“We are grateful to IBB for his fatherly welcome and counsel.-PO.”

Peter Obi is one of the most popular presidential candidates who has garnered the support of many youths who desperately want a better Nigeria.

He was a former running mate to the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

Other political parties, PDP and the running party, the All Progressives Congress, believed Mr. Obi was only popular online and was unpopular in the north. Therefore, he won’t win the election in 2023.
