A former dictator and the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the destruction of the PDP campaign bus in Jos on Saturday.

Buhari said on his twitter page that he rejects supporters who will resort to violence.
He also advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join in the call for peace in the coming election.
He said “I have received news of violence in Jos today. I condemn this violence in its entirety. I reject any supporter who resorts to violence
“We can and we will bring #Change to Nigeria peacefully. I call on the PDP to join this call for peace. Every Nigerian life is sacred”
President Jonathan campaign bus was attacked by some angry youths in the Northern part of Nigeria on Friday, destroying and setting it ablaze.
A witness said two buses of the PDP were set ablaze by the youths. Though, it is unclear on what led to the protest.
