A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Bashir Bukar Rimin Zayam has stated that the All Progressives Congress ( APC) led administration at the federal and states levels have fallen below the expectations of electorates.

He disclosed this in Bauchi on Sunday while speaking on various issues affecting the country and the challenges it has been facing since the coming of the President Muhammadu Buhari led APC administration in the country.
“Confusion, hatred, conflicts bedevilled the APC they will address them if they emulate the leadership style of leaders in the first and second republic. They have to listen to their followers, know their problems, address and empower them.
“APC must respect anybody that contribute to the success of the administration bring them close. By doing so, they will move forward, understand the problems and they will receive constructive criticism that will help them to govern the country well,”he said.
He advised the APC led Government to emulate the leadership qualities of the first and second republic leaders like Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Alhaji Shehu Shagari make an effort to provide essential social services and good governance to the people.
Bukar also lamented the rampant travelling within and outside the country by Governors, intra party conflicts across APC controlled states, Governors, arrogance and their lacklustre attitude in delivering dividends of democracy in their various states.
He therefore called on President Muhammadu Buhari, APC state Governors to do more for the electorates before the end of their tenures.
He said that the projects which the President should focus on include; dredging of River Niger, building Railways across the country, actualisation of oil exploration in the North, Ajaokuta stel rolling mills and the Mambilla hydro electricity project.
The PDP stalwart said that completion of the projects will bring genuine development , address poverty and reduce unemployment.
“Time is going they should correct their past mistakes and do more for the electorates for the development of the country”.
Bukar also advised Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufa’i to apologise to the People of Katsina State and Nigerian over his nasty comments against late President Yar’adua saying that the comment was unfortunate.
He therefore advised the Kaduna State governor to desist from making such comments on present or past leaders.
On the state of the Nation Bukar said the country had recently witnessed some agitations with the potential of undermining the unity and relationship across the ethnic and religious divides.
He advised all citizens to avoid violence, and uphold peaceful coexistence to be their brothers keepers for the development of the country.
“ We have to made selfless sacrifices for the benefit of our neighbours, and indeed the progress of the country , together with our leaders we most work hard to make Nigeria better,”he said.
